Specific Rules #5 for Author/Editor (required) to Citing Entire Reports Vancouver Style: Designations of rank in a family, such as Jr and III



Place family designations of rank after the initials, without punctuation.

Convert roman numerals to arabic ordinals.

Examples:

Vincent T. DeVita, Jr. becomes DeVita VT Jr

James G. Jones II becomes Jones JG 2nd

John A. Adams III becomes Adams JA 3rd

Henry B. Cooper IV becomes Cooper HB 4th
