In 2019, the 6th Typojanchi will be held and the theme of the event is Typography and Objects.

»Typojanchi 2019: Typography and Objects is about the present state of typography as it is involved in ‘type’ and ‘everything (objects)’. It is about objects typography of disassembling and assembling, letters borrowed from the shape of objects, one object and typography, objects related to typography, and the common point of objects—such as pictures, photographs, symbols, movements, and sounds and typography that circulates without beginning or end. It is held in the world’s only country where characters are ‘designed’.

»Typojanchi: Typography and Objects explores the power of communication and the cultural and artistic possibilities of typography in the creation of a better design culture and consists of exhibitions, talks, and projects:

»The Exhibitions consist of 6 sections: Kaleidoscopes, Polyhedrons, Clocks, Corners, Sundries, and Plants. Each section shows where typography relates to objects, and 6 curators take charge of each section.

»Talks provide a space for curators and artists share their thoughts about ‘Typography and Objects’. They are to be held on three days during the exhibition—05, 09 and 19 October 2019.
