General Rules for Series (optional) for the Volume for Individual Volumes With a Separate Title and Separate Authors/Editors Vancouver Style



Begin with the name of the series.

Capitalize only the first word and proper nouns.

Follow the name with any numbers provided. For example, vol. 3 for a volume or no. 12 for an issue number.

Separate the title and the number by a semicolon and a space.

Place series information in parentheses.

End series information with a period placed outside the closing parenthesis.
